Telegram app is one of the most used social media apps worldwide by millions of users. It is available in the Play Store for all Android smartphones. For Galaxy Watch, sadly, it is not available to install. Telegram app is not available for Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 6, or Watch 7. Like Facebook or Instagram, you can only receive incoming messages but can’t reply. It will only alert you when someone messages you, or there is a new message in a Telegram Group.
You won’t believe it, but the official Telegram app was available for Wear OS-based smartwatches until 2021. Later, the company behind Telegram decided to remove it from the Play Store and ended support for smartwatches. Back then, Samsung was using Tizen OS, so Galaxy Watch 4 users were also unable to use it. If you want to receive Telegram notifications on the watch, you can activate them from the Galaxy Wearable app.
For your information, the official Telegram app has been launched for Apple Watch Series gadgets. You can share messages from your watch, and also handle your Telegram channel. We can hope, in the future official team behind the app will launch it for Wear OS watches.
