Samsung is currently focusing on One UI 7 stable version. Simultaneously, it has been reviewing the beta testing program for various devices. Now, it looks like the company is also working on its upcoming major One UI 8 update. For the first time, the upcoming One UI 8 firmware has been spotted on the Samsung server. It has been unlocked on the CheckFirm website with the firmware number S938BXXU1BYC1. The One UI build number is assigned for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
As per the sources, One UI 8 is supposed to be announced in September or October this year, though Samsung is working early on its development. The build number can be shown in the India & Turkeyβs servers for now. I specified the next One UI update as One UI 8 because some tipster mentions Samsung to ditch One UI 7.1 & One UI 7.1.1 versions for the current year. At the moment of writing this, we donβt have any information regarding features of the next One UI version.
