Earlier this month, Samsung released Google’s March 2025 security patch in South Korea for Galaxy Z Flip 4 & Fold 4. It was the only country to receive it, but now the company is releasing globally for other users. It is expanding the March firmware in the Asian, European, American, and Australian continents. To identify new firmware, you can check for build number F7**BXXSAGYB2, and it is nearly 500MB in size. It is applied to both the Galaxy Z Flip 4 & Fold 4 foldables.
In the new code, Samsung has fixed dozens of security flaws caused by poor software code. It is a regular security patch, so you will not find any new features here. It could be the last security patch before the major One UI 7 update, and there may be a chance, it could join the One UI 7 beta. Since last week, Samsung is gearing up for the next beta as well as stable firmware rollout. The confirmed date is in April, and these older models will be installed in May or Early June.
