The Galaxy Watch 5 series users are now receiving a major One UI 6 Watch software update. For more than two months, Samsung has been conducting beta testing programs for the new software and now it has finally come to the stable version. First, the users who participated in the beta testing program can download it, and later general users can have it. The new firmware is available for both Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro smartwatches.
In a massive One UI 6 Watch, Samsung introduced some new AI-based health tips in the Samsung Health app. It gives you better sleep analysis and daily workout goals. Further, you can use double pinch gesture, a new font across the system, toggle design, charging animation, and improved Quick Panel UI. The several tiles for the watch have been improved including alarm, battery, calculator, body composition, weather, sleep, dual clock, and more. In power-saving mode, you can control some health features.
The stable firmware is now rolling out for beta users in South Korea and the US. It will come to other users in the coming days or weeks. The One UI 6 Watch for Galaxy Watch 5 is based on the Wear OS 5 software version. Recently, Google announced the Wear OS 5.1 version for all the supported watches.
