In a Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung showcased the first glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone. Along with three other Galaxy S25 models, it will be the fourth one to be delivered sometime this year. As per the name, many users and tipsters assume it could be the next fan edition device that will deliver flagship features at an affordable price. Although it got the name of the S25 series, it will not be the next fan edition version. A new rumor emerged on the net claiming the device will carry a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
In the Galaxy S lineup, only the Ultra variant has the power to bring a 200MP sensor. If the Galaxy S25 Edge comes with this sensor, then it would be more powerful than the S25 Plus model. Further, the device to receive Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, which is a premium material after Corning Armor 2 glass. Also donβt forget, like all other S25 series phones, the same device will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
Since the Galaxy S20 lineup, Samsung has been launching three devices every year, and one device in a fan edition. However, after five years, Samsung is going to change it with the fourth Edge variant. It will fill the gap of the 6.6-inch phone with 3900mAh battery power.
