Like every year’s trend, Samsung will bring newly launched phone features to its previous models. This year, Samsung will bring all the exclusive features of the Galaxy S25 series to the predecessor Galaxy S24 series. It includes some of the Galaxy AI functions that collaborate with camera features. These camera functions will be available for the Galaxy S24 series in the One UI 7.1 or One UI 8 update. It will take some time for the upcoming software as Samsung is still working on the One UI 7.0 version.
With the new device, the company has introduced ten new filters, which allow customization of color temperature, contrast, and saturation according to the needs and surroundings. There is a new log video function for videographers to adjust the video quality using a video editor. It is available in Pro mode and gives a more professional tone to the footage. In an Expert RAW mode, the company has added a Virtual Aperture function to give DSLR-like blur effects in portrait mode.

Further, Galaxy S25 has 10-bit HDR support, but we are not sure whether or not the function will launch for Galaxy S24. In a community post, the moderator clarifies that this function needs hardware changes, so 10-bit HDR may not launch for other devices. Though the camera moderator declines it, some tipsters are pretty sure about its support for older models. All these features may not be supported on every S24 & S24 Plus model, but the Ultra variant will receive most of them.
