The Expert RAW needs more advanced hardware and software specifications for the phone. Hence, the Expert RAW app doesn’t work with mid-range devices. In the recent One UI 6 update, Samsung introduced a Camera Assistant app for the Galaxy A54. It is one of Samsung’s advanced tools for phone cameras, and it will definitely help users take better pictures. However, Samsung missed a major version of the Expert RAW app for the phone. The app is still missing for the Galaxy A54, and there is less chance of it being released in future updates.
According to the company, Expert RAW needs powerful hardware to support the tool. The hardware on the Galaxy A54 is not capable of running the tool, so Expert RAW doesn’t support the device. You can’t even install the app’s APK file. Further, the app is not available for upgraded Galaxy A35 & Galaxy A55 devices. The other two Camera Assistant & Enhance X apps are available to download from the Galaxy Store.
Users can expect the Galaxy A56 smartphone to have such a powerful camera tool. Recently, Samsung introduced the Expert RAW app for the new Galaxy S24 FE smartphone, so there is a chance for other higher-mid-range phones. The Galaxy A56 is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2025, and then we will see a clear picture.
