For the last few days, there have been various news about the upcoming One UI 8 software development. It all started when Samsungās firmware testing servers showed the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Flip 6, & Fold 6 running on the next version. Further, some reports claimed to view new software on the Galaxy S25 series. Now, official Samsung mod came ahead and clarified everything about the One UI 8 development. The US beta moderator denied that any current Galaxy phone or upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 is running on One UI 8.
The official beta person says the development of One UI 8 has not started yet for previous devices. It is the internal testing on Samsungās side that is happening to stabilize the initial code. That doesnāt mean software is ready for public use before the release of One UI 7 version. Further, it mentions the announcement date for the next version is not confirmed yet, so donāt believe in any third-party reports. You should check for official channels to get the authentic news and release dates.

As per the rumors, Samsung could start the One UI 8 beta testing program in September this year. It will not take a longer period like the current version to distribute the software. Currently, the company has focused on One UI 7 stable update, and as per the official statement, it will start delivering from April. Galaxy S24 series will be the first to grab new software, and later all the other Galaxy devices will get it.
