With the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Samsung is planning to revamp its design and use a more powerful processor. In a recent leak, we received its new design and display sizes. Now a new tipster claims the company may also increase battery power on the next clamshell device. The well-known leaker @thegalox_ mentions the larger 4300mAh battery for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is a massive increase compared to its predecessors. If this happens, then the device will almost have a similar battery to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which has a 4400mAh battery.
The previous Flip 6 used a 4000mAh battery, and before that Flip 5 had a 3700mAh battery. That means every year, Samsung is increasing Galaxy Flipβs battery size to 300mAh. The phone needs to have a larger battery because, as per the other rumors, the Flip 7 is to launch with a bigger 6.8-inch inner screen and a 3.6-inch outer screen. The company may power it with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 8 Elite processor (some rumors claim Exynos 2500 chip), which could also help to boost battery life on the Flip 7.

Apart from that, the device would offer an enhanced 50MP main camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with new Galaxy AI camera tweaks. Further, many users in the past were concerned about its crease or hinge, so the company promised the next Flip to have a less visible crease. Samsung could launch Galaxy Z Flip 7 in July along with Fold 7. Both devices will run on One UI 7 software and get tons of new Galaxy AI tools from the Galaxy S25 series.
