In the last few weeks, Samsung has introduced some new functions for its smart wearables. With the new BioActive sensor, it has also unveiled Sleep Apnea for the latest Galaxy watches. The new function was supposed to come with the upcoming One UI Watch 6 software, but looks like some users are already getting it. Many users on Reddit confirmed that they have received new features on their smartwatch including Galaxy Watch 4. There is also instruction in the Health tab on using this new feature.
The advanced Sleep Apnea is a new function in Samsung Health, and it will launch with the One UI Watch 6 update. The new software is now in a beta testing program, and that will soon come to an end. The users who participated in the beta program can now see new functions on their watch. To get it, you have to update Samsung Health to the newest app version. The remaining users will receive it when they install the stable One UI Watch version. The software will be released for other Galaxy Watch when Galaxy Watch 7 & Watch Ultra will hit the market.
Sleep Apnea is good feature for the users who want to track their breathing in the sleep. It will alert you when there is an issue in your sleep. In February this year, Samsung cleared all necessary steps to get a green signal from the FDA in the US. For your convenience, Samsung has put detailed instruction on how to use this function. It supports on Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 5, Watch 6 & the new Watch 7 series.
