Itβs been a long time since Samsung announced the One UI 6.1 version for previous generation devices. The first smartphone in the list is the Galaxy S23 series, and looks like Samsung is ready to give it new software. The Community Manager in South Korea has finally stated the new update to the Galaxy S23 lineup is coming soon. Further, it mentioned the next version will be delivered with the March security patch. South Korea will be the first country to receive One UI 6.1 software with newly added Galaxy AI features.
The official member responded when a user asked for long-waiting firmware. For the Galaxy S23, Samsung has already started the March security patch in some countries. Users in the US are now seeing a new patch, though it does not apply to South Korean users. They are still running on the February Android security patch, so there is a possibility that they will get major software in the new update. We can expect this next update in other countries in the next few days. The users who received the March patch will again see the same patch with the next version.
With One UI 6.1 version, Galaxy S23, S23+ & S23 Ultra will get many new features, but the main highlight will be Galaxy AI functions. There are over 10 AI tools that we can see on S23 devices. The new Circle to Search, Live Translation, Image Remastering, and Camera Shift AI tools are a few of them. In the same month, the new software will come to Galaxy S23 FE, Fold 5, Flip 5 & Galaxy S22 series devices.
