Samsung has now turned to older Galaxy smartphones to deliver the newest security patch. It is now rolling out the January 2024 security patch for the Galaxy A31 smartphone. The firmware version A315NKSS4DWL1 has been assigned to the device and comes in a 253MB file size. The image only mentions it brings improved security to the Galaxy A31 and nothing else to notice.
The new software is released in Samsung’s home country South Korea. It could expand to other regions in the next few days. Apart from this phone, the company has launched a January patch for Galaxy A52, A54, Galaxy M32, and Galaxy S21 FE mid-range devices. To install a new version, open Settings on your phone, then go to Software Updates, and check for any pending updates.
