After the Galaxy S23 fan edition, the older Galaxy S21 FE is now getting the first update of the new year. The Androidβs January security patch is now rolling out in some European countries. It makes it one of the few devices that received a new patch outside the US. All the other major phones have received it in the US, but still not coming outside the country.
In the European countries the UK, Spain, and Ireland are the first countries to have it, and there may be more till the end of the day. For Galaxy S21 FE, Samsung has dispatched version G990BXXS6FWL5 to handle over 75 bugs & other issues. It is a regular update and doesnβt bring any minor or major changes. The Indian users will soon get a January update for both Exynos & Snapdragon variants.
