Such new phone is Galaxy F42 5G, which received a new update in India. The phone gets October security patch under quarterly updates with 193MB file weight. It still runs on the most recent One UI 5.1 software system.
For the device, Samsung applied code number E426BXXS5DWK1 to squash known bugs and improve existing features. It missed newer December patch or the previous November security patch, though this software brings much fixes to the 5G phone. In India, you can now look for this new version on your Galaxy F42.
