Galaxy A72 smartphone will receive One UI 6.0 version in January 2024. Samsung has rescheduled the official roadmap for Android 14 release dates, showing Galaxy A72 in January next year. The previous schedule listed it in December 2023 with Galaxy A52, A53, A54 & A73 smartphones. All the other devices in different countries have been promoted to the new version, but the Galaxy A72 is not lucky enough.
The Little Brother Galaxy A52 in most of the countries is running on Android 14 version. The A72 model was launched in 2020 with the most promising features and the barrier between flagship & mid-range devices. It still holds value in the market with many users, especially in India. It will be the last major firmware for both Galaxy A52 & A72, and later they can only expect regular security patches.
